V&S’s 46,230 SF hot dip galvanizing facility in New Castle, DE, is located to have easy access to Interstate 95 to allow for easier transportation to southern region of the East Coast. Designed to house galvanizing kettles that can accommodate 80-foot beams, the facility includes two 10-ton bridge cranes. One receiving dock on the east side of the facility, and one shipping dock on the east side, enabling efficient, “assembly line” production. A unique design feature is the translucent fiberglass reinforced plastic roof panels, enabling natural light to permeate the facility.
