Headquartered in Lancaster, PA, Burnham Corporation is best known for its residential, commercial, and industrial boilers. This 103,000-square-foot facility houses the assembly and warehousing of the company's residential boilers. Two dock areas comprise three receiving docks and eight shipping docks. The façade of the building features an interesting design with brick and split face block and up/down accent lights located on masonry medallions at each column bay. Unique characteristics of the project involved designing the facility on a rolling terrain adjacent to a railroad spur. Floor slabs laterally support an eight-foot retaining wall.
