Architecture Design
Bosch's new facility consists of a 146,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center connected via a glass corridor to a two-story, 66,000-square-foot corporate office building. Greenfield Architects was challenged to create a building that promotes communication and teamwork and reinforces the company's high-tech image. The manufacturing building features distinctive precast concrete panels, cast in two colors and three finishes. Precast was chosen because of its durability, low maintenance requirements, and speed of erection. Additionally, the unique exterior blends with the adjacent brick office building and fits well in the campus setting.
